Welcome to my blog! This is where I write about topics that enter my heart, and try to make sense of them; but not alone. God is the center of my joy, and through the burdens, trials, and changes of life, He has helped me share my story confidently to maybe help someone else too. Enjoy!
Veterans Day 2016 Guest speaker Jennifer Booker spoke on the topic of "Persevering: Pressing Forward" for Bucks County Community College's student body.
I had the pleasure of speaking with the students at Bucks County Community College on Veterans Day about "Persevering: Pressing Forward". This topic was extremely relatable and encouraging to the students; especially as they pursue their goals as college students and balance work and life.
The primary objective of giving them insightful ways to persevere through life's difficult times, was met by constructing group activities, offering advice and resources, as well as sharing my own personal struggles as a Veteran, entrepreneur, and Type 1 Diabetic.
